all gift cards MUST be accompanied by a gift receipt. they moved in November but since the gift card and accompanying business card had their old address, it couldn't have been purchased in Feb so therefore I must be lying and trying to scam them Other excuses she threw out there to not honor the gift card: Well, as a gift, how am I supposed to know these things. She kept interrupting me, talking over me, asking me ridiculous questions like 'what was the amount on the gift card' and 'what is the exact date it was purchased', and telling me I needed to produce a receipt.
She NEVER called me back so I had to keep calling her to try and remedy the situation. I gave her the gift card number multiple times and she kept saying she needed to check with the bank and would call me back. When I called to make an appointment, the woman was extremely RUDE and started questioning the validity of this gift card because she had no record of it in the computer system, which she said was recently updated. In February I was given a gift card from a group of volunteers from my nonprofit. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND FIND A NICE, RELAXING SPA WITH POSITIVE, FRIENDLY PEOPLE WHO HAVE A GENUINE INTEREST IN THEIR CUSTOMERS' EXPERIENCES!!! HORRIBLE BUSINESS MANAGEMENT AND CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!
Loyalty is important but they don’t seem to grasp that concept clearly. I myself am a business owner and this is absolutely not how you treat your customers. So on top of removing certain areas on my massage and charging more for it they also never even gave every member in my group what they were paying for. I regretfully gave her the amount she was asking.Īfter walking out our other friend said they never even massaged her feet. No apology, no remorse, she just insisted mine was $80. She said “well it’s on our website” and I said I understand but when I asked you how much you said $60 cash. And to say the least the fact that the massages they confirmed with us they had just double booked already forcing us to get a more expensive massage. She told me I was wrong and did not seem to care at all about customer satisfaction. I told her she did not clarify that when I asked for areas not to be touched it would be an additional $20.
I asked her why when she quoted me $60 cash for the 4 massages and she said because I am prenatal. We definitely felt a bit rushed and uncomfortable as they don’t show you restroom facilities they just take you to the room, do the massage, and take you out.Īfter our massage we go to pay and the lady at the front tells me it’ll be $60 for my 3 friends and $80 for me. Our massages were fine nothing spectacular but good for the price. We went in for our massages (2 separate rooms even though when we booked we asked to be all together- still I did not complain). She kindly agreed and said that she’d tell her team not to touch certain areas. I then said I was expecting and would it be possible to modify my massage and not touch certain points. I said that is fine and we will do 4 of those massages. I asked what the price difference is and she said $66 however $60 if you pay cash.
I asked what rooms were available and the lady at the front desk said rooms for a full body. (As wrong as this is I did not express any frustration yet because I didn’t want to ruin the mood). Upon arrival we are told that the rooms for the massages we booked are being used so we need to chose a different massage. Booked our 10:00 AM appointment 2 weeks in advance for 4 head to toe reflexology treatments which were $50 each and fully confirmed with their reservationists. Came to SD to celebrate a friend and had chosen Cascade based off reviews.
